About Us
Healthcare Associates of CT was founded in Marlborough, CT in 1991. As a family business operating for over 30 years, we offer complimentary one-on-one consultations for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Prescription Drug Plans. We are licensed with every insurance company in the state (United Healthcare, ConnectiCare, Aetna, etc.) and are committed to finding a plan that is best for YOU.
Medicare Advantage Plans
Often called “Part C” or “MAPD” plans, Medicare Advantage Plans are another way to receive Part A and B coverage. These plans are offered at little to no premium ($0/month), include drug coverage and additional benefits such as dental & vision, OTC credits and gym memberships.
Medicare Supplement Plans
Appropriately termed “Medigap,” Medicare Supplement Plans fill in the gaps of Original Medicare. This plan kicks in and covers the coinsurance, copayments and deductibles that Parts A & B doesn’t cover. Monthly premium costs vary per plan and carrier and Prescription Drug Coverage is purchased separately.
Prescription Drug Plans
Drug coverage is required once you become Medicare-eligible. While your PDP is included with Advantage plans, it must be purchased separately with Supplement plans. These plans start at low monthly premiums and help cover costs associated with prescription drugs by categorizing them into tiers.
